im just gona throw it out there, but i dont think they will be playing on the sand... prolly rubber flooring like the used to have for that doctor pepper thing from back in the day... will teams get a roster of their games before the date, or do we just rock up with no idea when we have our first game and what not?

Apologies for not responding earlier, was away.
It will infact be on the sand.
So will be normal rules, dribble the ball if you like but 'fat chance' of it coming back up!!
It is something different and should be a fun day down at the beach.
The main thing is that our sport is represented at these types of events and gets as much exposure as possible.
36ers tickets will be up for grabs and some merchandise.

Sutts,

Playing on sand is a great concept as it eliminates dribbling. We play on sand (we have no choice) with all of our juniors in Sudan to encourage player and ball movement. We also play with a coconut instead of a basketball to improve passing and shooting technique. Maybe you guys can use a medicine ball instead of a basketball to make things interesting.

Cheers

Manute
PS My new CD 'Manute unplugged' featuring my number 1 seller 'I blocked your arse again' will be out in all good music stores early next year.
