The Lakers have traded Shaq to the Miami Heat and got rid of the greatest coach in the game to keep a selfish hog and potential jailbird.
188 million for 7 years thsi is the worst move in the history of the game. Watch as the Lakers miss the finals and the Heat win the title. Any thoughts out there?

Couldn't agree with you more. He is a hog and you could tell his team mates were frustrated with him during the year. It will be good to see the first Miami - Lakers game. Hope Shaq gives him one.

They didn't get rid of Jackson to keep Kobe. Jackson retired. He has 9 Championships give the guy a break. Shaq for 2 maybe 3 years where he plays less then 50 games of an 82 game season or Kobe (who despite everyone jumping on the "Kobe's a hog bandwagon" is still then best off guard in the comp) for 7 years. All will be forgotten when he can put together a good month or so, and all you guys will be eating your words.

Just cos he is a good player doesn't make him a good team mate. Just ask the North players about Hawkes and McKay.

Ditto, that bandwagon is easy to join when you've watched a guy bring the ball in triple-teams to the best defensive front-court in the NBA.
Especially when Shaq was seeing single-coverage and scoring at will.
...or it would have been at will, if the ball was going to Shaq when he wanted/the-offense-called-for-it-to-happen.
