I guess Goorj will weave his magic wand to turn Adel & Naar into NBL world class defenders as well as teaching Grida to stay between his man & the basket, when he returns from injury.

So it begins

With Goorjian on board and these owners, they were bound to sign some talent. Illawarra should become a league powerhouse. Watch this space!

He'll be a high point scorer, it’s the other end that could cause problems.

On the Hawks' Next Star, could Ball come back if he's drafted to the NBA? i.e., a draft and stash for a year? Would the Hawks want him back?

If he does get drafted and doesn't come back, the Hawks will be due a buyout payment (according to Aussie Hoopla). What might that be worth to them? Is this affecting their ability to finalise their roster before the NBA draft?

Ball will be playing in the NBA next season.

Lamelo Ball's contract was with the NBL, so if & when Ball is drafted & there is a buyout of his contract a large portion goes to the NBL & a small portion goes to the Hawks
Now since the Hawks went into VA & the NBL now owns a large portion of the Hawks you would think all the money would go to the NBL, aka LK

2 imports, Adel and Bairstow that's a fair salary bill right there so doubt they would also get Motum.

Import/Naar
Import/ Grida (elevate a DP until Grida returns.)
Adel/?
Bairstow/ Deng.
Froling/Ogilvy.

Maybe Kyei lands here.

Jois, lmao. Kyei is a far better option though as kings face book shows he's certainly training there.

He comes with a big reputation and at a guess a big pay packet, I'm looking forward to see how he performs. It could show us how good he is or how good the nbl is.
