Div 2 summer season

Is it too early to be saying WTF are south doing not having a women's reserve team running in the summer season. Here is a team struggling to retain players and needing to recruit players as there are no real quality juniors coming through, and they have chosen to scrap the summer season? What do you tell your recruits or the 15 players that we have put letters in for? We really want to take it seriously from January!
Can non finals teams afford to not have a top tier team for a season without doing long term damage? Could a finals team?
South may just be challenging eastern for the spoon next season.

If the rumors are true

Players

Claire Johnson- close to retirement, want to assist coach
Elizabeth Keane-will not be there for 2012
Janelle Ridley-injured needs surgery, won't see her play in 2012
Karen Rokicinski-ready to continue
Katrina Evitts- already gone to centrals
Kylie Evans-should have stayed retired, will not continue into 2012
Lauren Fisher-junior should continue in 2012
Lyndell Kwiatkowski-walked out half way through season, won't be back
Olivia Hubbard-junior player, will probably look elsewhere
Rachael Litster-let half way through season will not be back
Sarah Peddle- will play if there are players around her
Simone Nelson-will not be back for 2012
Tameeka Muir-possibly at woodville
Taya Crockford-should retire, 50/50 for 2012
Tracey Taylor-left half way through season won't be back in 2012

South may have 3 players so far, I don't like their recruiting prospects with no coach around for the summer season

South dont need to worry about anything they have a record amount of juniors coming through to replace the retiring players.
