Momo Ntumba leaving Albury/Wodonga

Big blow for Albury/Wodonga with Congolese import Momo Ntumba succumbing to a knee injury and heading home.

Momo has struggled with pain in his surgically repaired knee all season and hasn't been able to perform to his normal high standards.

It's a real shame for Momo and the Bandits but it seems to have been a mutual decision and definitely the right one in my opinion.

The Bandits are hoping to have a replacement import in place in time for their next game after this weekend's bye.

It's been another tough year for the Bandits so far. Hopefully a new import will breathe a bit of life into the team.

It's a shame for Ntumba & Bandits fans but it gives Chalmers an excuse for another poor season.
